Job brief:
We are looking for a technologically savvy, skilled Bookkeeper and assistant to undertake a variety of office and clerical tasks. You will manage the books including day to day entries, closing it out for the month and running financial reports. You will be an integral part in ensuring that our office operations run smoothly and are successful in supporting various business activities.
Above all, an organized and competent professional with demonstrable communication skills. You will be comfortable dealing with people and able to carry out tasks with accuracy and speed. We expect you to be up:to:date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends for marketing purposes.
The goal is to add maximum value to the organization.
Responsibilities:
:Perform general bookkeeping duties, including recording transactions in QuickBooks and carrying our bank reconciliations.
:Checking figures and reporting for accuracy.
:Reporting any irregularities in data to management.
:Producing balance sheets, income statements and other financial documents.
:Extensive use of social media and technology (LinkedIn, Facebook, Google Analytics)
:Help execute digital marketing strategy
:Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
:Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities
:Support with various administrative tasks (mail, redirecting calls, disseminating correspondence, scheduling meetings etc.)
:Assist in other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
:College degree; BSc/BA in business administration, accounting or relevant field
:Tech savvy and quick learner
:Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation
:Proficient in MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
:3+ years proven experience as an Office manager, Bookkeeper, Executive Assistant or similar position
:Solid time:management abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks and multi:task
:Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
:Detail:oriented, reliable, professional demeanor
:Extensive use of QuickBooks
:Familiarity with WordPress a plus
