Job Description
Reporting directly to the Manager of Quality Control, this position is responsible for the coordination of daily sampling of WIP and finished products and coordination of sample documentation for QC evaluation. Duties include: Routine analytical testing of raw materials and finished product samples submitted by production and sample lab. Working knowledge and good trouble shooting practice of QC analytical instruments i.e. GC, flashpoint, specific gravity, refractive index and various color tests. Maintain documents, data archives, and tracking of samples. Ensure conformance to accepted quality standards. Review laboratory records for trends or inconsistencies. Take necessary corrective and preventive actions. Communicate between production and laboratory personnel to assure that the laboratory is prepared to support production in a timely and efficient manner. Follow all safety and corporate policies Major Skills required to perform job duties: Basic computer skills Knowledge of QC analytical instruments and chemical handling and testing Training in odor,gc and all quality control apparatus (flash point, density, refractometer, colorimeter, acid, ester, and other related equipment) in-house departmental operational procedures.

Hours: 2PM to 10:30PM
Wage: $20 to $28 hourly There will be a drug screening, physical exam and reference check.
